Terms of service

1. About the platform

Talia is a platform for booking appointments at salons and service venues online. Talia connects clients and venues; the service itself (a haircut, a treatment and so on) is a relationship between the client and the venue, and payment is made directly at the venue. The platform is provided by Talia — provider details and contact are in the Privacy policy.

2. Accounts

Booking requires an account with a confirmed email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your credentials safe. You can delete the account at any time under “My account” — personal data is anonymised, sign-in is no longer possible, and appointment history stays with the venue in anonymised form for the integrity of its records. A venue owner must first delete or transfer their venues before the account can be deleted.

3. Appointments and cancellation

An appointment is a reservation at a specific venue. Each venue sets its cancellation deadline — after it passes, an appointment can only be cancelled by direct arrangement with the venue. A no-show can be recorded by the venue and affects your reliability score on the platform.

4. User obligations

Booking with no intention of showing up, creating fake accounts, entering someone else's data and any abuse of the platform are prohibited. Talia may restrict or terminate accounts that break these rules.

5. Venues

Venues publish their own offer, prices and opening hours and are responsible for their accuracy. Talia reviews venues before publication but does not guarantee the content venues enter.

6. Liability and changes

The platform is provided "as is". Talia is not liable for damages arising from the relationship between the client and the venue. We may change these terms — users will be notified of material changes, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
